Registration & Check-In:
CAMPER CHECK-IN/REGISTRATION Shooting camp will check-in from 3-5 with camp beginning at 5pm. Blue Devil Summer Session will check in from 1-3 with camp beginning at 3pm. Our Overnight Camp takes place on West Campus and Shooting Camps take place on East Campus. Specific details for each check-in will be emailed before the start of camp.
Check-Out & Departure Information:
CAMPER PICK-UP/CHECK OUT will take place in the same location as check-in for each camp. The checkout for overnight camp will take place at 3:00pm on the last day of camp. Check-out for the Matt Danowski Shooting Camp will take place at 11:00am on the last day of camp. Specific details for each check-out will be emailed before the start of camp. For campers attending both shooting camp and overnight camp, camp staff will assist the campers in checking out and checking in to the new dormitory.
The West Campus Athletic Campus is home to the Duke Lacrosse Overnight Camps. The campus includes the West Campus turf which includes two lighted full playing fields; two full size grass practice fields and Koskinen Stadium which is home field for the Duke Men's Lacrosse team. All are located within a short walking distance from the dorms and dining halls. Matt Danowski Shooting Camp will take place on East Campus. Playing fields, dormitories and dining halls are all located within walking distance of each other.
Accommodations & Meals:
All Duke resident campers will be housed in the dormitories on the Duke University Campus. All meals are served in the campus dining facilities.
Confirmation Information & Forms:
All campers will receive a CONFIRMATION E-MAIL once registration & payment are processed. All important forms are always available on the General Information tab at www.dukelacrossecampforboys.com Campers must have all medical and liability forms filled out and submitted prior to check-in in order to participate in camp.
There are many great rates available for campers flying to and from the Raleigh/Durham airport (RDU), including JetBlue Airlines and Southwest Airlines. Directions & Maps will be included in the Confirmation Email, and can always be found at www.dukelacrossecampforboys.com Please keep in mind check-in and check-out times when making flight arrangements. RDU Airport is approximately 20 minutes from Duke's campus.
Directions to Koskinen Stadium and the West Campus turf fields:
From the South:
Take I-85 North to the NC 751/Duke University exit. Turn right on 751 and follow it about three miles. Turn left on Science Drive and take the second right on Whitford Dr.
From the North:
Take I-85 South to Highway 15-501 South in Durham. Follow 15-501 to NC 751 (Duke University West Campus) and follow it about one mile. Turn left on Science Drive and take the second right on Whitford Drive.
From the East:
Take I-40 West to Highway 15-501 exit and turn right. Follow 15-501 bypass to NC 751 exit and turn right. Turn left on Science Drive and take the second right on Whitford Drive.
From the West:
Take I-40 East to Highway 15-501 exit and turn left. Follow 15-501 bypass to NC 751 exit and turn right. Turn left on Science Drive and take the second right on Whitford Drive.
50% of your camp tuition is non-refundable for any reason. . If injuries, sickness or circumstances make it impossible for you to attend our camp, we must be notified by June 1 in order to issue a partial refund. If injuries, sickness or circumstances do not permit you to cancel prior to June 1, 2018 we will apply the entire fee towards a future camp and you will not be eligible for a partial refund. Balances and deposits are transferable to siblings or family members ONLY! Any requests submitted after June 1, 2018 will not be accepted and you will forfeit your tuition. If you do not, or cannot, attend a future camp, you will not be eligible to receive a refund. Refunds will not be addressed or sent out until after August 1, 2018.
